US Coins

Tne coinage of the United States traditionally starts in 1792, although there were numerous Colonial and foreign coins used prior that date. The Miller's Mint inventory offering reflects coins, from the earliest to the most current issues, from the U. S. Mint. Included are regular issue, Commemoratives, Gold, Platinum, and Proof and Mint sets.
We endeavor to work with you in providing coins to meet your needs, no matter whether you're a beginning or an experienced collector.
US Currency

United States Currency isn't limited to strictly issues of the US Government or BEP, such as Large-Size Notes (1861-1923), needed a "big wallet" for those suckers; Small-Size Notes (1928-present); National Notes (1865-1928); and Military Payment Currency (1947-1973), or MPC. It also includes such issues as Fractional Notes (1861-1923); Error Notes (all dates); Obsolete Notes (Private issues 1800-1877); Depression Scrip (1907 and 1933);Colonial Notes (1690-1799); and basically any related paper or scrip that was issued in our history that someone desires to collect. US Currency provides a vignete into the history of our country from earliest colonial times right up until today, and collecting currency always provides something new and different.
We at Miller's Mint have increased our involvement and pursuit of these offerings to meet your needs, and plan on growing the "paper" trail of US history and collecting.
World Coins

Simply stated, World Coins are those coins that aren't from the United States. That said, we need to make a decision on what country's coinage you'd like to collect, or if you're Rockefeller or Vanderbilt you could collect from every country. No matter what your decision World Coins represent history, past, present and future. Virtually every country issues new coins each year and historically they go back to the first millenium. You can specialize by country, denomination, shape, year, etc. and today there are books and resources available online to help you in your hobby. The recent issuing of the Euro has sparked an interest in collecting from the European Union as their prior coinage becomes collectibles.
We are continually adding these coins to our selection and have full time staff ready to buy, sell and assist you in assembling a new collection or enhancing your current one.
Ancient Coins

Rome wasn't built in a day and you can sure tell it by their coins. Every Emporer, before and after the birth of Christ, used their coinage as advertisements of themselves and their accomplishments. Ancient coins date back to 700BC and for the sake of definition we take them to the end of the first millenium or 1000AD. Pick an ancient civilization and they had coins, different sizes, shapes and denominations true, but all serving the same purpose, that being Trade. While they might not be as glamourous as the 1933 $20 Saint-Gaudens they have a much greater history. Empires and countries that haven't been heard of in over 1000 years can now take shape before you and make you wonder about their coin lineage and who had them and where. The market is smaller than World Coins but should never be overlooked or skipped over because of that. Rome, Greece, Carthage, Egypt, Macedonia provide just the veneer of what awaits you in Ancient Coins.
We feel we spend much time adding these coins to our inventory, and painstakingly qualifying them as to country and date. Yes it's work, but it's satisfying work to assemble and add to our inventory, and assist you in building your collection.
